RMS Insurance gives your Annuals access to comprehensive protection for their caravan and contents.
It also covers their mandatory liability requirements and protects their property and annexes from natural disasters.
You can turn on RMS Insurance for your Annuals at any time. Simply log in to your RMS account and follow the on-screen steps. Once you’ve enabled RMS Insurance, you can update the protection details of your Annuals with the click of a button.
RMS Insurance gives you full control of insurance for your Annuals. You can opt-in all or individual Annuals for RMS Insurance at any time and gain easy access to their certificates of insurance, so you know they’re covered. RMS Insurance can be added to your RMS Dashboard by following our step-by-step guide and you can update the protection of your Annuals with the click of a button.
You are the point-of-contact for your Annuals for their protection. Once they pay their premium to you, you’ll then be invoiced by RMS for the coverage. Once you opt-in an Annual or set of Annuals, they’ll be emailed their certificate, a confirmation email and invoice and will be directed to pay their premiums directly to you.
You can modify or cancel your Annual protection using your RMS Dashboard at any time. If your Annual needs to make a claim, they will contact our insurance partner XCover directly.
RMS Insurance not only makes it easier for you to keep track of your Annual protection, but it also offers multiple benefits to your Annuals.
Your Annuals can also log in to their XCover.com Account to view their specific policy wording to find out more about their coverage.
To opt your Annuals into RMS Insurance, simply login to your RMS Cloud account. Once logged in, you will be prompted to follow our step-by-step guide to activate. RMS Insurance can be found under the Reservations heading in the sidebar of your dashboard. Once you click RMS Insurance, you’ll be taken to your RMS Insurance Dashboard. On your RMS Insurance Dashboard, you will see a check box next to each Annual. Tick the check box, and click on the enable button on the top menu for your Annual to be opted-in to RMS Insurance. When you opt for an Annual or group of Annuals into RMS Insurance, you’ll be shown details about the protection and premium payments. You will also see a table of protection benefits that outlines what your Annual will be covered for.
Once you opt-in an Annual or set of Annuals, they’ll be emailed their certificate, a confirmation email, and invoice and will be directed to pay their premiums directly to you. You take payment for the coverage and, create a receipt against their record on the RMS Insurance Dashboard. You’ll be invoiced by RMS Cloud within your next monthly cycle. If you don’t collect your premium payment within the first 60 days, the policy will automatically be canceled and you won’t be charged.
To access your Annual certificates, simply login to your RMS Cloud account. Once logged in, find the RMS Insurance tab under the Reservations heading in the sidebar of your dashboard. Once you click RMS Insurance, you’ll be taken to your RMS Insurance Dashboard which shows you each of your Annuals, their levels of protection, and their insurance certificate, alongside other key information.
If your Annual has found a better quote for a similar level of protection, you can apply to XCover for a price beat on their behalf.
Simply email support@xcover.com with your Annual XCover reference number, which is available in your RMS Insurance Dashboard and ends with “INS”. In the email, include the other quote or invoice from an insurer, and XCover will beat the price and update the Annuals coverage in RMS Insurance. You will then take premium payment from your Annual or issue a refund if they’ve already paid.
To make changes or modifications to your Annual protection, simply log in to your RMS Cloud account. Once logged in, find the RMS Insurance tab under the Reservations heading in the sidebar of your dashboard. Once you click RMS Insurance, you’ll be taken to your RMS Insurance Dashboard. From here you can make changes to the coverage amount for caravans and annexes and contents. You can also make changes to personal information, check premium pricing and coverage dates, and view policy documents.
To opt your Annuals out of RMS Insurance, simply login to your RMS Cloud account. Once logged in, find the RMS Insurance tab under the Reservations heading in the sidebar of your dashboard. Once you click RMS Insurance, you’ll be taken to your RMS Insurance Dashboard. From here, you will see a check box next to each Annual, simply tick the box and click disable on the top menu and your Annual will be opted out of RMS Insurance. You’ll be given an opportunity to price beat from here, by emailing support@xcover.com with the Annual reference number (which always ends in “INS”) as well as the details of their quote. You’ll also be given instructions on the amount you need to refund your Annual based on the premium they’ve paid so far.
If your Annual needs to make a claim, they should first login to their XCover Account. When they opt-in to RMS Insurance they’ll be sent details on how to set this up. Once they’re logged in to their XCover Account, they can then submit a claim using our hassle-free online claims service.

RMS technology will seamlessly connect you to the XCover platform that will provide pricing for insurance policies, issue the policy certificate and all associated terms and conditions relating to the policy for the benefit of the policy holder.
All matters relating to a policy are to be directed to XCover who are the sole point of contact for Customer Service for policy holders and the Park owner.

RMS technology provides the connectivity between XCover and the Park owner and facilitates the collection of premiums paid to the Park owner from the policy holder that are due to XCover and the payment of any premium refunds due from XCover.
RMS is not a party to the issuing of any insurance policy, the policy certificate or any of the terms and conditions applicable to an insurance policy issued by XCover under the RMS Insurance connectivity module.
Nothing in the use of the RMS Insurance module shall be deemed to constitute a partnership or principal-agent relationship between the RMS and XCover, the Park owner or the policy holder nor otherwise entitle any party to bind RMS for any purpose.
RMS bears no responsibility or liability to either the Park owner, the policy holder or any third parties in regard to any premiums paid, claims, loss, damages and any expense that arises out of, in the course of, on in connection with any policy offered, provided or failure to be provided by XCover or any insured event. RMS sole role is as technology facilitator to enable XCover, the Park owner and the policy holder to achieve desired insurance outcomes.
RMS makes no representations as to the fitness for purpose of any policy offered or issued by XCover, this is entirely a matter between XCover and the policy holder.
In using the RMS Insurance module you are authorising RMS to transfer personal data to XCover for the purpose of pricing and issuing an insurance policies to a policy holder and you warrant that you have all necessary consents from the policy holder.
